Emergency Medical Services Overview
Blair Township's Emergency Medical Service provides 24/7 Advanced Life Support to the Township as well as Paramedic-Intercepts and mutual-aid to the surrounding areas. Blair EMS responds to over 1800 calls per year. We currently maintain a Fire/EMS staff of 13 full-time members supplemented by part-time employees and on-call volunteers. Blair EMS also provides Medical Stand-by and First Aid Services for the Northwest Michigan Fair, The Buckley Old Engine Show, and various other community events.
